Course Description:
This six-week program introduces kids to the joy of sewing through hands-on projects that grow with their skills. Students will learn how to use a sewing machine safely, measure and cut fabric, and stitch their own creations—like pillows, tote bags, and simple accessories. The focus is on creativity, problem solving, and building independence through making. Each class blends learning, fun, and the excitement of finishing something they can proudly call their own.
Materials and Supplies:
All materials are supplied. Participants are welcome to bring their own fabrics to use during the class.
HCS Facilities and Equipment: Hamilton Craft Studios’ textiles facilities are designed to facilitate a diverse range of work. Our spacious studio is equipped with sewing machines, large cutting tables, and other essential tools to support your creative journey.
