Facilities at Hamilton Craft Studios
Hamilton Craft Studios spans two thoughtfully designed floors in a beautifully restored heritage building on Princess Street. With 14,000 square feet of creative space, HCS is home to professional-grade studios for ceramics, textiles, woodworking, and general arts. Every studio is set up to support shared learning, individual growth, and a strong sense of community.
Studio Access & Hours
Members can access their studios during open studio hours, with the exception of times when a space is in use for classes or workshops.
3rd Floor – Ceramics, Textiles & General Arts
Flooded with natural light from windows on all four sides, our 3rd floor is a warm, welcoming hub of creative energy. This floor also includes our shared kitchen, lounge, coworking nook, and printmaking equipment.
Ceramics Studio
8 Shimpo wheels (7 VL-Lite, 1 Whisper)
2 kilns with a full range of kiln furniture
Clay available for purchase through the studio (includes glaze and firing fees)
A wide selection of studio-made and commercial glazes
Shared tools, molds, and applicators
Reclaim and pugging station for sustainable studio use
Shelving storage available for monthly rental
Textiles Studio

2nd Floor – Woodworking Studio
Our woodworking studio is built to meet the needs of both casual makers and career woodworkers. With professional-grade tools, plenty of room to build, and tiered membership options, this space is a foundation for skill-building and craftsmanship.
