This four-week course explores costume and fashion design as a form of storytelling. Participants will learn how to build cohesive, layered looks that express identity, narrative, and transformation. The class covers visual design principles, character development, styling for performance, and techniques for creating reveals or transitions within a costume.
Through guided exercises and hands-on experimentation, students will develop one or more cohesive looks that communicate a clear concept—whether through fashion, drag, or stage presentation. Each session blends discussion, design, and practical studio time to refine both aesthetic choices and personal expression.
