Furniture Basics: Cabinetry / Case Goods
Learn how to design and build case goods / cabinetry. Build a small wall-mounted cabinet with two doors. The case is made of sheet goods, with solid wood edging, two doors installed with hinges and two handles/pulls. The unit is wall mounted using a french cleat.

With provided materials, you'll embark on a six-session journey in our wood studio. Led by a skilled craftsperson, you'll learn joinery and construction techniques from experienced furniture makers, honing your accuracy, efficiency, and patience. The course includes access to member drop-in days for extra studio time. All materials are provided.
Foundation Courses are an opportunity to dive deeper into woodworking by building furniture. Students will gain hands-on experience cutting and fitting structural solid wood joinery and learn the techniques of experienced furniture makers to develop their accuracy, efficiency and patience.
Six sessions of in studio learning, led by a professional craftsperson, held in the wood studio. Includes passes for additional studio time for two member drop in days to continue your work.

Our spacious studio is furnished with woodworking benches, professional machinery, tools, clamps and other essential equipment to support your creative journey.
