Planters
Build planters out of clay using a variety of techniques in the ceramic studio. Hand building, wheel throwing and using molds you'll be able to create planters for your sweet plant babies. Learn about creating proper drainage and best practices for glazing and decorating your work.
Four sessions of in studio learning, with passes for two member drop in days to come in to the studio and work independently to complete your project. Course is led by a professional craftsperson, held in the ceramic studio. All materials are provided, additional materials are available for purchase.
At HCS, we teach the fundamentals of working with clay through technical skill sharing and development as well as with playful projects. Students receive clear instruction for the safe participation in the studio and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with each tool and process.
