Learn the ins and outs of garment sewing with our intensive garment skills course. From perfecting pockets, plackets and buttonholes, installing zippers and crafting perfect collars, you'll acquire essential skills each week. Dive into the trickier techniques for garment gaining the confidence to tackle any project. With hands-on experience and expert guidance, you'll create multiple samples, each week focusing on a new skill to learn. All materials are provided, basic sewing skills are required - previous intro class or similar experience will do.

Sofia Del Giacco, a Montreal native with a robust background in garment design, has been designing and making garments for her brand, Hutchison, since 2014. Sofia guides participants through each project with passion and expertise.
Materials and Supplies: All necessary materials and tools for the workshop will be provided for use during the sessions. This includes fabrics, sewing supplies, dyes, and various hand tools. Detailed information about materials will be shared during the workshop.
HCS Facilities and Equipment: Hamilton Craft Studios' well-equipped textile studio is designed to facilitate a range of fabric art. Our spacious and well-lit studio is equipped with sewing machines, cutting tables, dyeing facilities, and other essential tools to support your creative journey.
