This course is taught by: Olivia Mae Sinclair
Olivia Mae Sinclair, a textile-book artist, embraces the imperfect and the intimate in her creations. Guided by a trauma-informed approach, she crafts works that bridge the realms of love and grotesque, drawing from her OCAD University and Sheridan College education. Currently an Artist in Residence at Harbourfront Centre, Olivia's textile books resonate with both the personal and the universal.
Materials and Supplies: All necessary materials and tools for the workshop will be provided for use during the sessions. This includes fabrics, sewing supplies, dyes, and various hand tools. Detailed information about materials will be shared during the workshop.
HCS Facilities and Equipment: Hamilton Craft Studios' well-equipped textile studio is designed to facilitate a range of fabric art. Our spacious and well-lit studio is equipped with sewing machines, cutting tables, dyeing facilities, and other essential tools to support your creative journey.
